Golden Lemon up for sale??

I just heard that the Golden Lemon is up fpr sale - we were thinking about booking our honeymoon in the spring there. Has anyone else heard this? I guess we will look elsewhere. My best friend stayed there last year for thier honeymoon and loved it....

Hi Jennifer. Here is a helpful link:

http://www.buynevisvillas.com

The owner is in his late seventies and looking to retire. However, it will probably be some time before any transaction takes place. Call or e-mail the hotel and discuss your concerns, i.e. deposits, is $$$ still being put back into the physical plant, etc.

Thanks for the info _ I will definitely call and check with the Golden Lemon. At any rate, when a place like that is bought, the new owners are looking to make it work - I would think they would not want to alienate potential clientele.

Good point Jennifer. Also, they are offering some terrific all-inclusive deals right now. The gentleman that is selling has been there for many years and I seriously doubt he would want the reputation of something he built up personally to decline . . . even if he will no longer be at the helm.

Oh, I meant to add . . . it probably wouldn't hurt to look into travel insurance. A lot of policies cover you in case the destination closes down, etc.
Try travelex.com. I think you can get an online quote.
