Just opened a 2005 Brooks Pinot Noir (Janus) from the Willamette Valley. My wife and I are enjoying it with a small wedge of Beecher's Flagship cheese straight from Seattle's Pike Place Market. Enjoy your weekend, everyone!

I just returned from an evening out with friends, in the Caribbean, having a vodka club soda overlooking the crashing waves on shore at a local hangout.

And, to top it off I was FREEZING! I guess there is something to be said for acclimation. I'm now on my patio in long pants and a jacket and it's probably all of 74. Brrrr!

Heading to a rented villa on Saba (10 minutes away) with dear friends a week from Monday and KNOW it's going to be even colder there (SA, I know you've inquired, so I'll let you know how "Hummingbird House" is when we get back).

Well, it was a lovely chardonnay....I never know if I spell it with one or two n's and I should know, as much as I consume!
Hot tub was nice after packing for a week in Hilton Head. Leaving in a few! I will just have to pretend that I am in the islands.

On another week if I make it to happy hour at theReef before heading home, will treat myself to one nice cold Caybrew.
