Flight between Turks and St. Martin or Anguilla?

Hi,
I probably already know the answer to this but am hoping I've missed something. Are there any airlines that can get me from Provo in the Turks to either St. Martin or Anguilla? I'm of course looking for limited layovers and unfortunately can't afford to charter a jet. The best I've found is American, routing me through Miami to St Martin where I can take the ferry to Anguilla. But we'd leave at 7am and probably not get to Anguilla till 4:00 or so. I've tried routing through San Juan too but I just miss the direct flight to Anguilla (or have to wait three hours to catch a 6pm flight. This would be after already having a layover in Miami). I've looked at airlines large and small and tried to be creative in my routings. The American option through Miami will cost about $1400 for the two of us, so if by chance there's a charter we could get for close to that, we'd consider it. The charter quotes I've received though have been closer to $10,000 - not in my budget unfortunately.
I know island hopping isn't easy down there. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

YUP!!! To quote an old adage "you can't get there from here. The only practical ways to fly commercially between the Turks & Caicos and Anguilla are to go via Miami to St. Martin or San Juan than on to Anguilla. Unfortunately as you have already found out you will either encounter long layovers or an overnight stop while enroute to your final destination and the airline fares you are finding are pretty much "standard".

And yes, going by charter plane (you only other viable option) will be "tres expensive". The prices you are being quoted (around $10,000 or more depending on the size of the aircraft) seem about right. The reason is even a small plane costs about $2,000 to $2,500 per hour and you have to pay for the deadhead portion of the flight so the plane and crew can get back to their point of origin.

Good luck working out the logistics for your trip.
