Well, I'm a fan of nearly every tropical libation I've ever sampled. But the drink that stands out in my mind is the rum punch variation called Killer Bee, served at Sunshine's on Nevis. I've tried recreating it at home with little to moderate success.

ejcrowe...I look forward to the infamous Killer Bee this June. Last year it was too crowded with music festival people to even get close to the bar!
I love a mango margarita!!

ej, I'll bet you're missing the right kind of "nutmeg."

My personal favorites:

Rum Punch at the airport in Grenada
Rum Punch at Hardwood Bar on Carriacou
Under de Counter at any of the bus station bars on Grenada.
Jack Iron overproof in Grenadines
Bucket o Beer (Corona and fresh limes) at Chankanaab Park in Cozumel
Margarita at El Moro in Cozumel
Mojito at Havana Club in Playa del Carmen
Caipirinha at Fly in Playa del Carmen
Les Pitons beer in St Lucia
Banks beer in St Lucia
Red Stripe (but ONLY on Jamaica)
Killer Bee on Nevis (the "right" way)

Hmmm. I could go on.

Looks like I could write a book called, "A Drinking Tour of and/or Various Beach Collection Expeditions of the Caribbean Region."

- Mellow Mango Magic at The Soggy Dollar, Jost Van Dyke (it's like a Painkiller, but made with mango vodka)

- The ORIGINAL Goombay Smash at Miss Emily's Blue Bee Bar on Green Turtle Cay

- Panty Ripper at Rasta Pasta, Caye Caulker

- Purple Parrot at Ramon's Village, Ambergris Caye

- Westerhall rum (from Grenada) with ginger ale and a twist of lime (I call it a "Green Flash&quot in the cockpit of any sailboat on which I'm the Galley Wench

29 more days til I get to be Galley Wench in Grenada again!!

Mmmm...70 days 'til we're back in STJ.

Painkillers
Killer Bees
Ting & Vodka

(Did I mention I found Ting here in NJ? We made some drinks, cranked the heat up and pretended we were in the islands!)

An "Original" Mojito at the legendary La Bodeguita del Medio, Havana.

This is the bar made famous by Hemmingway during his years in Havana.
