Can anyone comment on the ferry boat service Express Des Iles? I am interested in using this ferry boat to travel from Dominica to St. Lucia in April, 2008. Any insight is appreciated!

We used Express des Iles from Guadeloupe to Martinique with a stop in Dominica. It is a high speed catamaran not a ferry service.

Thanks, Odin. Were you satisfied with their service? I'm trying to figure out whether it is more convenient to buy plane tickets or use Expree des Iles.

Yes it was fine, aircraft type seats, could get coffee/sandwiches etc. It took 3 hours. It was a more interesting way to get between the islands, especially arriving into Fort de France was quite spectacular. You don't have to be there long before departure. The lines were quite long for immigration however.

I think we'll opt for the Boat. Thanks for the input, Odin.
