Check with your airline. We flew NWA in May on FF miles & weren't sure if the departure tax had been included.
While we were at our hotel in Jamaica we had them check for us when they confirmed our flight home. The hotel told us it wasn't included & we would have to pay cash either $27 US per person or $1000 JA at the airport. So whie we were out sightseeing we stopped at an ATM & got the jamaican money to pay. It worked out cheaper than paying US.
ANYWAY.... we got to the airport & found out it WAS included so we had to hit the exchange bureau in the airport to change it back to US. Lucky for us it didn't cost us anything except the ATM fee to do it. Our bank charged us $67 + $1.50 fee to get the ATM money & we got back $67 at the exchange bureau.

Best thing to do is to contact the airline or whoever issued the ticket to find out if the departure tax is included in the fare. The last few times there the tax was included in the airfare on American and Air Jamaica. I do remember paying the tax in person one time, but I Forget the airline. I do remember the flights from Kingston always included the departure tax and the one time I remember paying cash was on a flight out of MoBay.
