Culebra Camping?

I'm now here, hope to tap into some more experienced travelers. I am planning a January trip to PR, with a week spent fishing and diving on Culebra Island. I want to camp out at the public campground at Flamenco Beach.
The trouble is, I cannot seem to contact them to make reservations - as recommended. I have emailed them @[email protected] - no answer
I have phones 787-747-1400 & 1404 - No answer
I have phoned 787-747-3880 & 0700 - both of those just return busy signals.

anyone have any ideas/ information I'm not finding?
thanks

Had to look up that PR means Puerto Rico. Make sure to camp in a designated area. We were harassed for not doing this in Cuba.
good luck!

AAron, sorry it took me so long , this forum sign in is goofy as hell, i did get through eventually to the campground managers - can't remember on which phone I think it was one of the bottom 2 - the ones that were busy. anyway they took my reservation - i guy spoke english and relayed it to someone else. it was pretty relaxed my impression was a reservation was pretty much a suggestion , and - essentially you just show up at their office and check in the day you arrive - the reservation is probably not important. i will be there from Jan 29 - Feb 2nd or so camping on the beach

Camping on culebra info

Yeah Aaron,
first of all this is the goofiest forum I've ever attempted to use, It took me an hour to just sign in, and now its losing my quick replies - so ill try it this way.
I kept calling those numbers I listed - eventually got someone to answer (I believe it was one of the bottom ones I listed - the busy ones. anyway - answered by someone who did not speak english - but she found someone to translate and work with me. I made the reservation, but It sure seems like thats pretty much a suggestion at best. I was told to show up at the office during the day, pay for the site - and go set up my camp.
I'll be there Jan 29 - Feb 3rd, i'll give you a report when I return if that might help you.
