<BR>I have to chose between the Caymans or Aruba. Please advise.

I prefer Caymans. We found Aruba very windy, lots of highrise hotels & casinos. Caymans - smaller, prettier and great snorkeling & diving.

In my opinion, you have to choose between the two of the best the Caribbean has to offer. I love both and don't think you can make a bad choice here. However, like the above poster said, Aruba can be quite windy depending on when you are going. Also if you are going soon, remember that November is the rainy month for Aruba. I think that is the only time of the year they get rain. On the other hand when I was in Grand Cayman in December, the weather was wonderful and couldn't have asked for it to be any better.

You don't say what type of activities you like, so it's hard to direct you one way or the other. <BR>Both are wonderful, clean, safe islands. Caymans do not have much in the way of nightlife. If you want that, go to Aruba.

I've been to both and enjoyed both a lot. I vote for Grand Cayman. Aruba has the casinos and more high rises whereas GC is more laid back with great diving and water. There is night life on GC, but no casinos, which was a plus for us. Enjoy wherever you go - both are beautiful!
