casinos in carribbean

My wife and I are planning a vacation in the fall, and we would like to go to someplace that has a casino. Any suggestions?

Many island have casinos in hotels or free standing, but except for Freeport, Nassau, Aruba, Cancun they are modest rooms with slots, 5-10 black jack tables and a couple of crap tables,etc.But you can win or loose money anywhere but if you want some "action" the above are likely the best to consider, in my opinion.

Bear in mind that casinos in the Caribbean are not quite like those in Vegas, nor do they pay as well. They can still be fun, though.

None in Grand Cayman (that I know of) as well....</b>

st maarten has several casinos. they are small by Vegas staandards but they are quite nice.

If I'm not mistaken, the Atlantis on Paradise Island has the largest casino in the Caribbean.

St. Kitts has casinos complete with slots and sports book. The Marriott has a beautiful resort - almost - reminding you of Las Vegas. Never to hot and never to cool.

As a ten year long resident of Virgion islands and Old san Juan, I would choose Divi Carina Casino and Resort on st. Croix.
