It sounds like a great destination for you would be the El San Juan Hotel in Isla Verde, Puerto Rico.
The hotel is about 15 minutes from the San Juan
airport. If you are on the right side of the plane as you are are landing you can see the hotel.
It is on the ocean, plenty of watersports, nightlife
and one of the most elegant casinos in the Caribbean. Everyone speaks english and the currency is the American Dollar. I am not a casino or nightlife person but this destination is nice and safe.

Amelia is right about Isla Verde. I stayed there about 4 years ago at the Sands Hotel right next door to the El San Juan and spent alot of time there as well. The food in the hotels are expensive though, and the same as you can eat in any diner in the states, so try one of the many native restaurants along the strip. For lunches you have the old stand bys too...KFC, McD's, etc. Dont miss the old city tours and the excursions to the Bacardi Factory or El Morro. All in all a terrific and inexpensive vacation!

I read your message that you have been to Cancun and Bermuda before, I'm trying to decide between the two. Could you give me some input on what you thought about your trips, and which of the two would you go to if you had to choose? In regards to your question, maybe try the Cayman Islands. <BR>
