stevearino, I can't believe I saw this! I will certainly ask for details and recommendations from my friends.
They just left town, and they might not be checking email for awhile. I'll ask now, and let you know when I hear back. ASAP.
PS. Your screen name reminds me of Steve Allen. A long time ago. Funny man.

Just heard back from my friends and that's exactly the company they use: The Moorings in Tortola.

I stayed in Grand Bahia few weeks ago and went to Dolphin Island with my wife and 2 sons ages 12 and 9, we had a great time. Thanks to the suggestion of someone we had met at the airport for a shuttle ride back to our resort. We found a great deal on the basic swim with the Dolphins package on a website ran by a nice and very kind guy called Manuel. His prices were much cheaper than those at the hotel desk for the same thing and his service was just great all around. Check it out in case https://excursionbook.com/punta-cana-excursions/
We found a few others but only went on the swim with the dolphins tour while we were down there. I though at first it would mainly be a thing for our kids to enjoy but my wife and I had a lot of fun as well, its worth checking out at least.
