Caesar Park Cancun Anyone?

We will be staying at the Caesar Park Cancun in April. Does anyone have any experience/opinions they wish to share. Also do you have any info on the meal plan- is it a scam?

Hi: Stayed there briefly last February. Gorgeous, Gorgeous pools, Nice beach very high end hotel. Caters to kind of a corporate crowd so it is not your typical "party" type Cancun hotel (you properly would have to got out for excitement). I am not in favor of meal plans in Cancun (even though a breakfast only meal plan would be nice) because there are so many fun places to eat in Cancun. And Cancun is so Americanized. Email me if you need more info !

Joe: It should be great for your wife and kids. As I stated it is a high end hotel that caters in my opionion to a corporate type crowd and is more subdued than many of the other Cancun hotels that are "party till you drop type". The pools in that hotel are beautifull and never ending so you need to supervise the kids (especially if nonswimmers) so they don't get in trouble. The ocean along that side of the Island is very impressive but is prone to considerable surf and undertow at times so your family needs to be allert when using the ocean. It's a great hotel and your wife and kids should love it. We took my 9 year old son and 15 year old daughter last July and they loved it. We stayed at the Sun Palace which was nice and more family oriented (but Caesar Park is more "high end). Have a great time bring plenty of "sunscreen" Email me or post here if you have more questions !
