If you are looking for a Fun, casual Resort with a lot of activity you will love it. While not as upscale as a Lido, Couples or Sandals it is a great property. The rooms are not fancy, it has a great beach and pool area, horse drawn carriage rides, Golf, Circus School, there is a nude beach.
Just a reminder - there will always be both good and bad reviews of any resort. This is for many reasons. People can have different experiences if they are at a resort on different weeks, and people have different likes / dislikes, different things that they are looking for in a vacation, different expectations, etc.

Thanks for responding. I agree not everyone is looking for the same thing. I was a little worried because I heard some very negative things a day after I booked. It was from a couple that just got back from there. I searched around last night and found some very positive reports from some people as well. Anyone else out there have more info? Please reply
Thank You, Linda

Linda, We were at Breezes Runaway Bay in December. It is a very nice place. Certainly not the Ritz Carlton or Rose Hall, but much more relaxed and casual. The rooms aren't the greatest, but if you get a bad one, complain. They moved us to a much nicer one after they asked how everything was. Besides, if all goes well, you won't spend much time in your room anyway.
Food is good, people are fun. I went four whole days before anyone gave me a last name or asked me what I did for a living. So, relax, enjoy. It is a lot of fun.

My girlfriend and I spent 10 nights at BRB March 2000. We had a great time. Very relaxing, the pool and beach are nice. The drinks are great. The staff is fun. The rooms and food are are ok. There is lots to do, it is a fun active resort. I am sure you will enjoy yourself. We are looking to go more upscale this time but would not hesitate to return to BRB.

Thanks Jerry glad you enjoyed your stay. Also planning a more upscale resort for 2003. We are thinking Grand Lido Braco.
Linda

I stayed here for 7 nights in November. We had a great time. Snorkling was awsome. The rooms aren't the greatest, but really, how much time do you plan to spend in your room? We were out and about to much to go there. The staff is great. They had laid off some of their workers when we were there, because it was slow, but I think they have rehired most of them back.

Also, if you plan to do an excursion, go to the botanical gardens, and Dunn's River one. It was fun. We didn't like the shopping part of it, but the rest was great.
