Jeff: We brought our 2 girls to Boscobel Beach about 5 years ago. I don't think it has changed very much. I thought it was a great vacation -- one of our best Caribbean vacations ever. There was TONS of stuff to do for kids of all ages! At the beach they had banana boats, catamaran rides, glass bottom boat rides, etc. You have to take a short elevator ride from the pool area to the beach. The beach wasn't the best beach I've ever seen, but it wasn't bad. There is a video game room, ping pong tables, etc. I thought the food was pretty good--they had BBQ theme nights; but I especially liked the wine & cheese buffet at 4:00. We stayed at the beach til then & then went poolside. They really had some good wine! For younger kids there is a buffet at 5:00. Sometimes our kids would eat that & then come along with us & swim while we had our dinner by the pool. There is also a nightly show. They have talent shows & a lot of organized activities. They also offer excursions off the resort. We did Dunn's River Falls which was really neat. The thing, however, about Jamaica is that it is NOT a really safe to go out on your own. Stay at the resort & if you go on an excursion stay with the group. Jamaica is having its share of turmoil these days, so be careful. I don't know if you should request a specific location for your junior suite. Maybe their website offers a virtual tour. I'm not sure, but it's probably "BoscobelBeach.com" Our room was not a "suite" but it had like a sunken area with a sofa bed that was divided by a bookcase. We had a beautiful garden view. Actually, the word "Boscobel" means beautiful garden. Also, check out "where2stay.com" It's a good site. Have fun if you do decide to go there. We loved it!

Looking from the ocean, the left hand side is the side that is more for folks with children. Has the horse shoe pits, pool, etc...

Mark
http://btsalltravel.tripod.com
