Best way to get to Martinique?
I'm flying out of Colorado Springs, and Kayak doesn't show an itinerary for COS to Fort-de-France. When I went three years ago, I flew American to San Juan and spent the night both directions. I've been told that it might be better to fly into St. Lucia and take a ferry. Anyone have a suggestion? I assume that I will fly from Denver to Florida or PR first. Thanks~!

I think your assumption is correct, you get there either via MIA or SJU.
You can take the Express des Iles from St Lucia to Martinique, but if you arrive at the international airport in St Lucia, you have to get yourself to Castries to get the catamaran. It is a very nice way to arrive into FDF though, the views are very nice. Express des Iles is really good.
