My husband and I love sunets. We like to be able to sit out on the beach and relax until the sun sets. We have been to some resorts where the sun sets on the opposite side, etc. Any suggestions of places you have been where the sunsets are wonderful would be helpful.

We have seen some lovely sunsets from Palm Beach in Aruba. The Hyatt and Allegro in particular are good about not taking the lounges in until the sun is gone. As my little girl put it, the sun is going to sleep now. Beautiful sunsets there and what a lovely island with nice people. Good luck in your quest.

I've seen some great sunsets on Grand Anse Beach in Grenada and at Pigeon Point in Tobago.

Ditto Kim's comments about the sunsets (and the island and its people) in Aruba...we stayed at the Tamarijn and could view them from either the balcony or the beach.......but THE most beautiful sunset I've ever seen was not in the Caribbean, but on Captiva Island in Florida with the sun setting over the Gulf of Mexico!

Best sunsets we've seen besides Aruba were 7 Mile Beach, GC, The Buccaneer in St.Croix, and the BEST we ever saw was from Richards Restaurant in Bonaire.(Could also be seen from the Plaza Hotel)

Best sunset: my cottage dock in the Haliburton Highlands, Ontario (there's no place like home). Next best, West Bay, Grand Cayman.

The most dramatic sunsets we've seen were on a "sunset cruise" aboard a catamaran from Point Village, Jamaica (near Negril). Fantastic! <BR>

Looking back at our photo albums from various travels, the sunsets that were the most beautiful over the ocean were those taken in Cancun. I think it all depends on the weather, clouds and certainly the hotel's perimeter to the ocean and sky.
