Definitely try The Swizzle Inn - the best rum swizzles on the island!! Good fun for food and drink - not wildly expensive either.

Hog Penny in Hamilton is a fun casual restaurant, with GREAT food. On the harbour front.

Try Tom Moores Tavern if you want to treat yourself - very expensive but excellent food.

Feel free to ask any other questions.

Angela

I was not overly impressed with the Swizzle Inn. I do not like taverns that are, in my opinion, too - what is the word - dirty? There is writing all over the walls, ceilings, everywhere. It certainly had character, and was interesting to see (for a few mins), but I was not overly impressed. We only had a coke there, and it was very expensive. If I remember correctly, it cost us $5US for 2 cokes!?!

Well The Swizzle Inn reminds me of a college bar! Went there many years ago in my 30's, and thought it was ok. Deadly rum swizzles, they did invent them, plently of rum! Have been back to Bermuda many many times and just recently went to Swizzle, same old college bar!
The Hog Penny is another bar restaurant and has good fish and chips.
In your question you did not really say what you are looking for!
IMHO nice restaurants are Ascots, Waterloo House, Tom Moores.
Casual spots-Lobster Pot, Portafino.
Great sushi at HarborFront.
Nice Italian at Little Venice.
Bermuda is a wonderul island, lots to see and do!
We went to Bermuda 3 years ago (were 28 at the time)and loved the English Pub feel of the Hog Penny. I even sang some Karaoke Jack & Diane with a stranger (don't worry...it was just something the band did on the spur of the moment...it's not cheesy).
