The Marriott Castle Harbour is no longer open for business. It now sits vacant waiting to be torn down. The excellent golf course there is still open, however. Rumor has it that Rosewood Hotels of Dallas, which operates several upscale resorts & hotels including Little Dix Bay on Virgin Gorda and Caneel Bay on St. John, is planning to replace the old Castle Harbour Marriott with a new 5-star resort.
The Reefs is an excellent small resort hotel with Bermuda ambiance located on the beach in Southampton parrish. It is one of the more expensive places to stay on the island, but maybe you can find a special package deal through a travel agency or travelocity.com. Two much more economical but decent choices are the Surfside Beach Club and Marley Beach Cottages.

We have been going to the Surfside Beach Club for many years. It is a wonderful spot, great views, excellent location and their own beach. Our friends son went there on his honeymoon 2years ago and loved it!!We travel to some of the premier resorts in the caribbean, and always stay at this spot in Bermuda. The hotel is now has an excellent small restaurant-The Palms. This is a very resonable, attractive and value. We looked at The Reefs, yes it is very nice, but we like the Surfside.
