Bermuda advice

HI,

Trying to plan a long weekend to Bermuda next Memorial Day (2001); due to the Holiday many places have a 5 night minimum - I only have 4 nights.

I am looking at Harmony Club - all inclusive or Mermaid Beach Club. Any comments on either of these properties.

Thanks,

Janet

Haven't stayed at either one so I really don't have much to offer exept to let you know that Harmony is not on the beach if that is important to you.

Hello,
I believe Mermaid's beach was largely eroded in last year's storm. So sad. even sadder, they are going timeshare. The beach will come back eventually, but the ambiance will never be the same. It never was fancy, but a great place.

Harmony is heavenly. Well located for exploring.

Since you mention these 2, I'll assume you wouldn't want a larger hotel, like Elbow or Sonesta (great heated pool) both on the south shore. Maybe The Reefs, Pink Beach or the Stonington would be good choices for you?

Thanks Bermuda fan for the update.

Actually, the Reefs was my first choice; but they and Stonington have 5 night minimums over the holiday weekend. May look into Pink Beach. Would prefer smaller over larger hotel, but may consider both.
