Bequia - grocery questions

We will be in Bequia in April .
6 days at Frangipani then 6 days at SweetRetreat .
I wanted to have the Frangipani , have waitting in my room , for our arrival ;
a couple of six packs of Coca - Cola and a dozen bottles of drinking water ,
and maybe a bottle of tequila and vodka ,
so we do not have to leave the facility our first 2 days.
Of course I will provide them in advance with a credit card # to procure the supplies.
Are 12ounce Coke cans and 12ounce bottles of water , the normal , easy to find size
on Bequia ?
Any problem finding a good bottle of tequila and vodka on the island ?
What can I expect for prices ?

You won't have any trouble finding premium alcohol and other liquids in all shapes, sizes and containers. Dont forget that commerce in Port Elizabeth/Bequia exists primarily to service yachts cruising the eastern Caribbean! Priced accordingly.

And while the Frangipani can certainly stock these for you, you are literally just a stumble away from the small grocery stores around the harbour. It would be a shame not to wander out ...

Thank You , and please do not get me wrong ;
we certainly plan on wandering out and exploring
the entire island.
It is just that , our travel will have us on the road and in the air almost 21 hours as we arrive in Bequia,
and I suspect , we will sleep away the 1st day on the island,
and be quite lethargic the 2nd day.
Thanks again !

PS, service at Frangipani is quite casual -- so your request will be graciously received and agreed to, but may not be delivered quite so effectively/efficiently...

I would agree things are very casual at the Frangi. Send a message to Sabrina. She is the manager there. Im sure she will take care of you. As for prices, there is Dora Fresh Foods with a great wine and liquor section. Add about 20 - 25% for pricing.

Sabrinas email is: [email protected]

Have fun.
