Bequia and Moonhole
My fiance and I are planning our honeymoon in mid-August. We've found a good crewed yacht to charter for eight days from St Vincent through the Grenadines. Then we are planning to fly from Union to St.Vincent and ferry over to Bequia. (Is there a more direct route from Union to Bequia?) We are considering renting a house in Moonhole for a week. Looking at Beachfront villa (Generation Gap) and Moonrise (cottage?). Has anyone stayed at these houses or heard reviews from anyone who has stayed there? I know a lot of people tour the area, but I'm having a difficult time finding reviews of the accomodations. We are hoping to find something unique and memorable...not just another beach cottage or hotel room. We figured we'd rent a car for the week, since Moonhole is remote. Any other suggestions for accomodations would be welcome, too. (We're definitely getting trip insurance, by the way) Thanks!

What a great trip you are taking. For villa rentals also look at Lime House. For hotels check out Old Fort. For transportation, look into a charter through SVG Air, not cheap but convenient. Good luck, please post trip report when you return. Happy travels.

One way by SVG from Union to St. Vincent is $32 US - if you arrange in advance, you can get a flag stop in Bequia. Here's the web adddress with info. http://www.grenadine-airways.com/ind...er_grenadines#
