Two of the nine restaurants require reservations which you should make at minimum the morning of. The rest do not...you will likely wait if you go during peak times. We ate at both that require reservations and did not have to wait. HOWEVER, I think it all depends upon how full the resort is when you go.<BR>We liked Kimonos and le Petit Chateau for dinner (no kids allowed at the latter).

Don't go to Beaches and expect to get "gourmet" food. The quality is mediocre- lots of fancy grub: filet mignon, king crab legs, lobster and loads of fancy sauces but it still tastes like mass produced grub. I actually lost weight while there for a week! However, since you must eat while there I'd suggest Kimonos for the outdoor sushi bar (get the vegetarian style- I would not recommend raw fish in such a hot, tropical climate). I found Beaches to be very expensive for what you got for the $$. Also beware- unless you get a suite be prepared to PAY for bottled water. Apparently water is not a free beverage in Beaches lingo.
