BEACHES INN

I am booked to stay at Beaches Inn November 25. I heard that it was supposed to be closed for renovation from Aug 31 to Sep 22., but I have heard that it is still closed. Does anyone have any information on this resort, when it is reopening or if it is reopening?

I hope it is already open. I have reservations at Beaches Inn starting this week 10/20/01!

Does anyone have information on accessing the other Beaches/Sandals resorts from Beaches Inn? How far is it? Can we just walk in and use hang-out at these other resorts? Do we have to pay for transportation? If so, how much?

Thanks!
JA

If you are staying at Beaches Inn you can take the free shuttle (5 minute ride) to Beaches Negril...which is a great property. You can eat/drink/play for free all day & night. But Beaches guests can't use Sandals facilities. Have fun!

JA ... I think you are so LUCKY!!! Beaches Inn won't be reopening until Oct. 25th, so you'll get to stay at Beaches Negril at the price you paid for the Inn. Call you travel agent and have them firm up the property details. By the way, if you are traveling without children and with a pernon of the opposite sex, you might even be able to get switched to Sandals Negril. Post what happens.

You're right! I just got a call last night saying that Beaches Inn is still closed for rennovations and that I've been upgraded to Beaches Negril! I've called the 800 number to confirm. I can't wait to start my vacation!!!

We called Beaches Inn. We are booked for November 25 at Beaches Inn.
Beaches Inn will be unofficially open the third week in November. We are to call them back in a couple of weeks as they should know by then if they are going to be open by then. I also understand that if it is closed, that we can select any Beaches or Sandals resort in Jamaica to go to.
