End of February vacation. Looking for a great beach with off beach snorkeling. Followed by good, clean, beachfront accomodations. Been to Cayman Islands, Aruba, Mexico. Looking for a new place! Help.

Numerous choices in the Virgin Islands. You should describe your requirements including budget range so folks can give you some specific suggestions.

Budget - $3000 or less for week for 2, not including airfare. My husband loves to walk the beach. So long stretches of beach to walk. Have no problem driving beach to beach, snorkeling to snorkeling. Quiet, relaxing. Not into the party scene or crowds.

Turks and Caicos. Long streches of beach to walk on, and snorkeling of the beach in front of Coral Gardens Resort, and Smith's Reef. Provo has some of the most gorgeous water and beaches you will ever see!

St. John (USVI's) has terrific off-beach snorkeling and many very fine beaches (some may not be as long as you'd like). Also look at Virgin Gorda and Jost Van Dyke in the BVI's.

Anguilla has the extra long beaches you are seeking and some decent, but limited, off-beach snorkeling. The island is a bit on the expensive side you you might have to compromise a bit on the location of the hotel you choose in order to stay within your budget.

kimp - as what you say sounds exactly like what you can get in the East End of Grand Cayman... I know you mentioned somewhere knew, but if you have only stayed on 7MB in Cayman, perhaps consider the East End or Cayman Kai areas
