Bavaro Beach Resort, Punta Cana

My wife and I are staying at Bavaro Beach in late March/early April, if you have been there, what have you thought of the resort and how was the weather, beach, and other people staying at the resort. Also, are there any activities at the resort for guests besides the discos and casino?

The Bavaro Resort is a wonderful place to visit. It is like a mini-town with shops and many bars and resteraunts which you can eat at on the all-inclusive package. The beach is great, mostly flat and easy to walk on with crystal white sand. Enjoy

we are going to bavaro beach March 1-March 8 for a golf trip. Do you know anything about the course?
Also which resturants are good. We have 12 couples
going so we need to plan ahead. Thanks

Does anyone have information on what the nightlife is like at the Bavaro Beach Resort. I know there is a casino and a couple discos, but I am wondering is it real laid back, or is it more of a party atmosphere?

There really isn't anything outside of the resorts, there is no town in Punta Cana. The beaches are beautiful and the golf course looks nice. Just relax by the pool or beach and have fun. You can also do some tours to explore the island.

Absolutely a very nice place. Golf course nice. If will stay long enough go to Casa de Campo to play, it is 1.5 hr drive. You can rent a car and drive.Another nice golf course in nearby Juan Dolio area.

Have any info on Melia Bavaro All-Suite Resort in Punta Cana. Going real soon with our three boys aged 9-13. Sounds like it may be rather adventurous!
