Bahamas-Dolphin Swim

I am going to Sandals Royal Bahamian at the end of March. I am interested in swimming with the Dolphins and have read on this site that a lot of people enjoyed it. How do you go about booking this in advance?

I don't think people realize that dolphins are very violent sometimes, just ask any marine biologist. Dolphins are known to bite people, attack sharks, and even eat their own young. There was a really good article in the NY Times last May on this very subject.

Be careful, don't be decieved by their "smile."

I must add to this. Many Dolphins are captured from their freedom and placed in prisons. They are enjoyable wild creatures and can be dangerous, especially if they have young ones in the pod. They behave OK for tourists, and associate with people because of the goodies offered to them; ie, fish. Much controversy exists about captured dolphins and placing them into wire pens or swimming pools. This is outrageous. I have to admit, though, allowing the dolphins to free swim is much better than caging them. There have been cases where dolphins actually hold their breath and commit suicide when placed in captive cages, for tourists to swim with. Robert
