Hi Dave,
I was in the Bahamas at Thanksgiving 2 years ago. Just thought I'd let you know the weather was gorgeous. Days started out with cloudy overcast, but ended up sunny and warm--about 85 degrees. I wore my bathing suit & shorts all day. My husband and I cruised from one end of Nassau to the other on a moped. It was a blast!
I think that it will be difficult to compare this past years experiences at this time of year with any other. This past Thanksgiving was very quiet, and not everything was open. The events of 9-11 in NY had a grave effect of the tourism industry in general, and the Bahamas felt it. Usually, Thanksgiving in the bahamas is very crowded, lots of families. Next year is a only a guess.

I was on Paradise Island and left the day before thanksgiving this past year. The weather was awesome, in the 80's, 70's at night. Plenty to do and plenty of tourists, too. Not too crowded, just right.

My husband and I were at Atlantis this past Thanksgiving week, the weather was warm, sunny with an occasional wind. It was crowded with families. And, you should make your lunch and dinner reservations far in advance.
