Go to www.aruba-bb.com and
www.arubatourism.com for more
information. I also recommend
checking out www.visitaruba.com
You can ask questions about
Aruba and the Marriott on the
Bulletin Boards at these websites---
the people there are really nice
and will answer your questions.
Also these websites have a trip
report page so you can check and
see if there are any trip reports
about the Marriott and its timeshare
property Marriott Ocean Club.
Hope this helps.
Janice
Craig-
My wife, daughter and I toured this facility during spring break this year and it is very nice. The vacation club is right next to their hotel resort and so they share the space, all of which is very nice.

Since Aruba is a desert you never have to worry about rain. I believe the trade winds die down for about 4 weeks in late October into November and there is rain then. For the rest of the year, the trade wind keeps all bugs away manage the dry heat (in the 90 degree F range most days). The weather is so predictable in Aruba that the island's 2 English language newspapers don't even print forecasts. It's also outside the hurricane zones, so this won't be a threat no matter what time of the year you visit. Have fun!

Craig,

I just got back from staying at the Marriot Aruba Beach Club and it was awesome!! In my past visits to Aruba I have stayed at the Costa Linda, but I must admit I feel like the Marriott is much better! I stayed in one of there Villas which is basically two seperate rooms ajoined by a nice sized kitchen ( the master had a huge jacuzzi). It really was a beautiful room and the rest of the place is even more beautiful. As Randy mentioned it is located right next to the Marriott hotel resort(which has a cassino)which is also very nice and it is kinda cool to be able to use both facilities ( kinda like two resorts for the price of one).
I thought they had a nice beach and the pools are very nice and include swim up pool bars which is always fun!

I agree with Randy on the weather although I have only gone to Aruba in the month of November I don't think you will have anything to worry about in April or May. Aruba weather is very nice, usually there is a nice breeze ( sometimes it gets a little stronger than others) and its just enough to take the edge off the hot sun!

Anyway let me know if you have any more questions! Obviously I am a big fan!

GO! We stayed next door at the Marriott Hotel last year and loved it.
Rent a jeep and take the island tour, but be advised that when they say a road may be a little bumpy, they are not kidding. A great place!
