Hi. My wife and I stayed there in April of 2000 and enjoyed the hotel very much. Most of the food is good and lots of it. The grounds are well-kept as is the rooms. A good staff helped our stay there. The pool is great and the beach fantastic but get your shade early in the morning or your shade by the pool early. Any other question can be answered though the forum or by email. Enjoy your trip. Gord

Hi again. In answer to your question when we were there there was about 10 -20 smaller children. We were on the beach alot but recall seeing more than a few young ones. There seems to be a play area of sorts for them, but being on our own I can't say for certain what activities there are for the small ones. The pool is great and there is a children's pool that is shallow as well as a gradient into the big pool <BR> I hope this helps and you may be able to get more info from your travel agent.

I stayed at the Tuxpan hotel next door to the Bella Costa. The grounds are lovely, nice rooms. I am getting married at the Bella Costa May 2001. The hotel staff have called me twice to confirm my requests for the wedding. They have been very helpfuland very very nice. They have assured me that my guests will be well taken care of during their stay. I have not stayed at the Bella Costa yet , but I would not hesitate to recommend this resort to anyone who wants to visit Cuba. The beach in Varedaro is beautiful and the people very nive.
