It is a matter of $600.00(total 2 people round trip) more than coach to fly round trip first class. It is so worth it on a long flight to be able to completely stretch out and to reach your destination and feel like you just woke up from a nap, rather than be crumpled up and squished in a coach seat.I would never ever pay full fare first class but for $600.00, it's worth it for us. That's why I book thru Classic Custom. Someone else may see that as a waste, but that's what makes the world go round!

I don't think a normal sized person who is in decent shape has to worry about being "crumpled up and squished in a coach seat". Now if you're really big or fat or out of shape, then you may need to pay for a bigger seat to accomodate your girth...

xx
I am 5'10 and my husband is 6'5. We are not fat at all, we are tall. We do not need the seats for width but for leg room. For us, yes we are definately crushed in coach, espically on a flight over 3 hours. And espically when the person in front of you decides to recline their seat into your lap for the entire flight and the person sitting in the back tries to get out of the small seat by grabbing the back of your seat and a handful of hair along with it. That's always my favorite. For us to spend the extra money is well worth it.
Why xx would you immediately think someone was fat or out of shape?? Do you really need to be in shape to sit in a seat on a plane? Have you ever noticed the difference in first and coach? If you were 6'5 or even 5'10 would you be more comfortable in First?
It happens to be our preference to sit in first as it is much more comfortable for us. I did not bash anyone for their seat or destination chioce. Sorry XX to disappoint you in the fact that we are not fat and girthy. If it makes you feel any better, we can also afford it!

You prove my point since you are both kind of talll. The better shape you are in physically, the less likely that coach class will be an issue. Your post implied that crumpled and squished was the rule rather than the exception. It also really depends on the airline and plane as well of course, since seat room can vary widely. I've been bumped around in first class as well, it's not a panacea.
