Anguilla-Staying at Ku-need a suggestion for second hotel
We are going to Anguilla June 27-July 4. Have booked an oceanfront at Ku for the first four nights and was then going to book Cap Juluca or Malli for the final three. After really looking at their prices I don't feel they are worth the money we would spend. Plus, I can tell this Anguilla trip is going to be a pricey one with the cost of food and everything.
I have looked into RBH but their renovation will be going on during our stay. Someone mentioned Cove Castles, but that is just a expensive as CJ or Malli.
can anyone recommend an affordable place to stay after Ku? Or should I just try and book KU for the entire stay. I wanted to change hotels to see compare different places should we return to Anguilla.
thanks.

My suggestion for what it's worth is to stay at KU for the whole visit and rent a car to explore the rest of the island and the other hotels. Why put yourself through the aggravation of packing and checking in twice. You're on vacation after all.

The dwindling number of affordable places to stay in Anguilla is quite alarming. Carimar is nice but you get the essentially the same view that you get at Ku (different beach, though) but you would be close to the west end restaurants. Have you checked out Blue Waters?

Carimar on Meads Bay is nice but the downside is no pool and on site restaurant. Also no central A/C which you will need at that time of the year. You can rent a portable a/c unit for the bedroom. Blue Waters doesn't have a pool either and to the best of my knowledge still does not have A/C. I would stay at Ku' and explore the other resorts.

My first thought was, why change? You are there for such a short time anyway, does not seem worth it to me.
However, if you want to change to experience new places, for future comparisons, I would look into Ferryboat Inn. One does not read much about it, but lateley it is a had some good reviews.
Whatever you choose, definately rent a car.
