2nd island convenient to Aruba

I will be staying in Aruba for a week and would like to add a 2nd location - any suggestions on a convenient 2nd island would be appreciated...my limited searching has shown a return flight to Miami and then back to the Caribbean - uck!

There are non-stop flights from Aruba to Curacao, and some Aruban tour operators run excursions to Curacao.

You might consider Bonaire as another alternative. It's more often thought of as a diving destination, but it's a beautiful place with good hiking, some snorkeling, lots of wildlife. It should be a quick flight from Aruba.

thanks for the advice - with other's help as well I found Harbour Village and it looks great - thanks for the suggestion

Booking a trip to Bonaire or Curacao from Aruba is usually possible via Dutch Antilles Express, but you should call and book your flight directly with them. You should not try to book a flight on this airline through an on-line booking engine like Travelocity or Expedia or Orbitz.
