Weather? http://www.weatheroffice.com
Activities-same as the Summer ones, mainly Hikin' 'n Bikin', maybe some Boardin' up top conditons permitting.
Good news for you the snow pack is down so you'll be able to access some spots normally still covered in May.
Bad news-it can still be quite chilly at night and the weather lately in Coastal BC has been erratic at best, Summery one day, almost winter-like the next.
Bring a warm fleece jacket and Hiking Boots.

Whistler in May is probably their tail end winter season... however, don't let that fool you. I've been to Whistler in April, and there was no snow in the village - the only snow was on the mountains. So I'm sure you can do a mixture of summer and winter activities. You can snowboard/ski up on the mountains, or you can go for hikes in the parks at the base of the mountains.

http://www.whistlerentals.com/activities.htm has a list of snowboarding/skiing events happening in May 2001...

My advice is that it could possibly be raining, so be sure to have a waterproof jacket and/or an umbrella. There's tons to do in the village, I'm sure you'll find tons of things to do there in May. Whistler's main industry is tourism, and they're all very helpful there. Good luck!
