What activities are there for children, a girl aged 7 and boy, age 9 in Victoria. They like most outside activities, probably would enjoy seeing and running around Butchart Gardens. Any other ideas? This would be in August.

Hi yestravel,
Perhaps they might enjoy a whale watching tour? Maybe watching the Victoria Harbour Ferry water ballet or the Beacon Hill Children's farm?

Actually, sludick reminds me-- I would say the Royal BC Museum inside as well would be well worth the price of admission, I think both for the adults and for the children. A highlight of my visit. I personally enjoyed the displays on the Pacific Coast First Nations societies; I think there's enough interactive displays on this topic and natural history that the kids would likely enjoy it very much also.
