Vancouver B&B's

Here's a snippet from another posting regarding Vancouver B&B's:

the English
Bay Inn in Vancouver is (I think) the best B&B there: great location, right near
Stanley Park, a lovely Tudor house, and a great host. If you want something a
bit less expensive, then try the West End Guest House or the O Canada
House

I found it by searching "B&B" in the next box and scrolling through the results for "Vancouver" locations. There are several others - I'll "top" a couple for you but you might also want to try a search - hope you enjoy your visit to Vancouver.

Hi...

You might try this site..

http://www.vancouvernorthbedandbreakfast.com/

These are reputable "north" vancouver bed and breakfast places - North Vancouver is only about 20 minutes drive or a 10 minute ferry ride to Vancouver proper.

This b&b is also on the north shore
http://www.vancouver-bc.com/Laburnum...eBB/house.html - and I've heard some good reports.

Unless you want to be right downtown (not much there IMHO) North Vancouver is also quieter, prettier and has some good sightseeing sites of such as Deep Cove, Capilano Suspension Bridge, the Salmon Hatchery, Horseshoe Bay, Grouse Mountain.

One place I always wanted to go (even thought I lived nearby was) Jane's Place. It looks like a fab place to have a romantic weekend!!!

http://www.vancouver-bc.com/janesgourmetbb/

Never been - but looks great..

__________

In Vancouver I had some clients stay at the West End Guest house which they enjoyed (6 blocks from Stanley Park). Depends if you like Victoria decor.

http://www.westendguesthouse.com/rooms.html

Good Luck

I highly recommend the Granville Hotel on Granville Island. It is not a B&B, but a beautiful hotel with all the attractions from the open market within walking. We have stayed at this hotel and plan on staying at it again next summer. The web site is www.granvilleislandhotel.com

We just stayed there and would not recommend you do so. It smelled of cat urine and we did not feel welcome. Our room was not changed the second day and we were not given fresh towels after we had used them and placed them on the floor. I would not recommend this inn to anyone.

I've just heard another recommendation
about the English Bay Inn.. I've never been, but my friend put her relatives up there and were well looked after.

http://www.travelguides.com/inns/full/BC/10899.html
