Toronto - Park Hyatt

Does anyone have experience at the Park Hyatt? The rate seems very low...$125US...for a 4* hotel.

Thanks to all who answer.

$125 USD for the Park Hyatt?

Wow.

Run, do not walk there. Best I've ever seen for it was in the realm of $170 USD.

We stayed there a couple of years ago (FF points for two nights; paid for one) and it is luxurious.

Yorkville neighborhood it is located in is smart (and pricey) with good restaurants, shops and boutiques.

Take it and don't look back!

My curiosity has been piqued; where did you find that rate?

It's an old hotel, refurbished, and, depending on your point of view (rich people have thispoint of view0 iot is at the best location in town. It's across the street from the Four Seasons, close to a museum, gret restaurants, and Toronto's version of Rodeo Drive / Fifth Avenue.

There's a great literary bar on the roof, and a Morton's of Chicago steak house in the hotel.

While that rate must be for the worst room in the hotel, it is still a good deal.

Subway is nearby, neighborhood is safe, etc., etc.

BAK

I booked the room through Hyatt directly and got a AAA rate.

Based on your responses, I think I will stay there.

Thanks.

You will love it. It is the nicest hotel in Toronto right now (we're getting a Ritz Carlton). There are no bad rooms. The south Tower was done several years ago and the North Tower which had the larger rooms was just redone with the rest of the hotel. The only room not done was the bar mentioned by a previous poster. It is famous for its clientele of authors over the years. You must check out the spa. It is called Stillwater and is gorgeous.
