Thanks kodi and moolyn for the time and effort spent putting together another exceptional chance for all of us to meet and chat. Truly a great evening. The Hot House provided a wonderful venue. Thanks especially to moolyn and Richard for hosting the second part of the evening. A special thanks to Fodor's for providing some wonderful books, travel bags and luggage tags as prizes. I am confident they will be well used. Now, I need to contact lucky MsLizzy to see if she will lend out the "Turkey" guide book.
I have met so many nice people through this message board.

Another wonderful Toronto GTG! It was great to see those who mattieu described as hardcore regulars and to welcome some new faces. We missed those who were unable to attend this year for various reasons. It's never possible to pick a date that works for everyone.

Ah yes, another very enjoyable evening with friends discussing travel and enjoying each others stories and anecdotes, all whilst enjoying good food and wine. Thanks again Moolyn and Kodi for your time and trouble in organising this event, and for hosting the after-party with Richard. Always enjoy chatting with him.
Its always a pleasure meeting our regular Fodorite attendees at the Toronto GTG; After 4 of them, I think we now know each other with the level of familiarity akin to good friends. Its always a pleasure hearing of each other's exciting travel adventures within the past 12 months, and there was no short supply of that this time around ! Nice meeting the newcomers too.
As a winner of the 2011 Paris guide, I guess I have to finaigle a trip there soon too !
Thanks everyone for a wonderful evening.

Mathieu, you have hit the nail on the head. It is like meeting up with old friends and always so enjoyable.
Already I can't wait til the next one.
Hearing everyone's travel stories only causes my bucket list to get heavier.

I am so sorry to have missed out on this: especially as it seems to have been such fun! maybe I can persuade some of the East Coast Fodorites that we should do something similar in a central location now that I am permanently out here in Nova Scotia? maybe some of the TO GTG folks could come, too? Cheers, LJ
