Yes, I do have a hat..several, actually but I assume I'll need the warmest one, and the gloves, and the down-filled leather jacket, boots, ski mask, poles, goggles....

BTW...I'm debating the "best' way to get from YYZ to the Marriott.

Previously I got one of those limo busses when I stayed at the Intercontinental downtown but that thing took FOREVER to get to the airport as all those regular busses headed for the Metro whizzed by.

I've also taken a regular taxi in the past.

I'll have one suitcase (rolls-carry-on size) and a backpack...think this is too much stuff to haul onto the city bus then the subway, etc.?

Help! and I've looked at the TTC site a couple of times..just don;t want to get on the wrong bus if I decide to do that.

Exact change needed? I've got some coins from my last trip and will also have bills.

My SO says that the airport bus (#192) goes to all terminals. He was at Terminal 3 and there stops on the arrivals level at a specific post. You'll need $2.75 in exact change.

The bus will take you into the Kipling subway station (the west-most station on the Bloor line). From there, you take the subway east to Yonge. Get off there but don't leave the station. Look for the Yonge southbound platform and go there. Take the Yonge train south to Dundas and get off there. You'll be right at the Eaton Centre and the Marriott is behind it on Bay Street. There's also an entrance from the Eaton Centre but I can't explain how to find it.

The TTC is easy though.

To answer your question, yes, it's $2.75 for the whole trip. The bus goes right into the subway station so you don't need a transfer. ( Oh please someone else confirm this. IT's been so long.)

And I'd just LOVE a Washington, DC, t-shirt! We've been there many times, most recently in October, and love the city. Some of our best friends live there -- literally!

Yes, it is only one fare, Dukey, and yes, you do go right into the Kipling station, then down stairs (or escalator) and eastbound to Yonge and so forth. BTW, there is sometimes a bit of a crush at the entrance to this bus at the airport. I once spent the entire busride WAY too intimate with a Korean girls choir: I kept wishing I had followed my own rule of grab your bag and SIT and then arrange your luggage around your feet!

I was going to get a bigger one, but the man in the store told me that the one I was looking at would not do the trick when I really needed it. And the bigger ones seem too much for me to handle, and they are so expensive.
