Toronto Airport Parking

We will be flying out of Toronto Airport on June 20, 01 and will be returning July 4, 01. We would like to find cheap/safe place to park car for two weeks. All help would be appreciated.

Try park'nfly...their website is www.parknfly.ca. They have three different type of rates. 1.economy parking 29.95 cad/wk. 2. self parking 49.95 wk 3. valet parking 59.95 week. Of course the economy parking is the furthest parking lot to the airport. These rates are with a coupon..so ask them to mail you one.

I've also noticed inexpensive rates at one of the hotels - I can't remember the name, but it's on Dixon, just east of Highway 27. There's a shuttle from the hotel to the airport. We usually have used Park & Fly, if it's under a week. If it's 2 weeks, though, we usually take a flat rate taxi to/from the airport (we live in Toronto).

There are other considerations besides price that should affect your decision. With the economy price, you are dropped off near your car and are on your own. We once came back and our battery was dead. With the valet p. I believe you can actually check in if they have a counter for your airline and you get points, again if it applies to your carrier. Some airlines and charters offer reduced rates on parking. Have you seen your tickets and what comes with them? I will try to do more investigation for you.

If you are coming in from out of town, you should also check into stopover rates at the airport hotels. They include a night's accommodation either before or after your trip, and free parking for the duration.

I did a little checking and was going to post the info. of the previous person, i.e. that you may pay the same for an overnight stay that includes parking. Otherwise, the GTAA (Airport Authority) runs a reduced rate lot at $59 per week at 6135 Airport Road (basically across from Terminal 3). See toronto.com for link to the airport information and the airport hotels.

Oops! I forgot to say that the $59 rate is with a "Save Now-Parking Voucher"- check with the GTAA or your agent.

Depending on how far you are away from TO, it might be easier, cheaper, and more convenient to check out door to door transit. We recently used this service and it was almost the same price as 2 weeks at park n'fly. It was worth it, .. getting off a transatlantic flight and being picked up and delivered home with no hassles.
