Hi Jo:
Depends on your preferences of course, but the Best Western Carlton place offers stopovers, shuttle bus to and from the airport and decent rates. If you want something a bit nicer you could try the Marriott, Delta airport or Sheraton (which is right at Terminal 3 and connected by a walkway.) All the above I have mentioned have a shuttle that ranges from free for guests to a few dollars (CAD). There is a board in each Terminal's arrival area with a phone that connects with most airport hotels.
Regards,
Lynn

Hi! We stayed at the Sheraton- Terminal 3, Pearson Airport. I believe it was about $128.00 CDN for one night, for 3 people. We were there in February 2000, so I am not sure if the rates are lower in winter months, but I thought it was a pretty good deal. We didn't eat at any of the restaurants, didn't have time, checked in late, checked out early. Rooms were large, hotel clean, you don't have to worry about calling a cab. Walkway into the airport. I would stay there again. Hope this helps.

Coming back from the airport last night I checked out the Airport Hotel skyline. There was the Bristol Place, a Quality Suites, Regal Constellation, Holiday Inn Select, to name a few. Obviously the most convenient is the Sheraton at Terminal 3. (If you're not leaving from Terminal 3 then you would have the same bus ride over to another terminal as you would from one of the nearby hotels.) Please note that some hotel call themselves Airport Hotels but they are not really close. Look for addresses on Airport Road or for distances less than 5 km (I think that's an accurate number). Check out toronto.com or expedia.ca or aircanada.ca websaver.
