Hi, smcgown! So happy to hear that you enjoyed your trip to Cape Breton & Halifax. You are the 2nd person (I think the other one was Reeder)who has posted recently about Seascape Coastal Retreat & it sounds wonderful. Did you have a room w/ a view of the ocean? Is it on the beach in Ingonish? Do you have a web site or pictures?

jaspertl....You will love Ingonish! We did not have an opportunity for music there but I am sure the people where you are staying will have that info if there is anything happening. We had a nice simple meal at the Seagull Restaurant, a family owned place just north of Seascape. Be sure & go all the way to Meat Cove via White Point when you have a clear day. Just past 2 Tittles B & B in White Point there is a dirt road with short hike out to the point. It is well worth it & is short & easy but you could easily miss it. There is a chowder place in Meat Cove with a nice deck. Be sure & give us a trip report when you get home.

Hi wow. Just Google Seascape Coastal Retreat & all the info is there. We absolutely loved it. There are 10 almost new separate cottages, all with wonderful view way across the bay where you can see the Keltic Lodge. Each cottage has a porch with chairs, big living room window, fireplace & it is all surrounded by a lush grassy lawn. The cottages are on a medium sized bluff with an easy wide walkway to the rocky beach. The dining room is also****. Owners are on site & are so nice and do everything to make you comfortable & content!
