Seattle to Victoria transportation
We are arriving in Seattle early afternoon on Sunday, May 1st. The Yankee Clipper does not start doing afternoon service until the next week. Does anyone know of an alternate service that does commute in the afternoon? Or suggestions aside from a commuter plane (that is not gonna happen). Thanks.

If you can figure a way to Port Angeles by 2 PM you can ride the Black Ball ferry. http://www.cohoferry.com/main/?Fares

Hi P_Texas,
If you'll have a car, you could drive to Tsawwassen, BC and catch the BC ferries to Sidney, BC. If you don't want to rent a car, there's one possibility... A crazy long way for sure, but if you absolutely MUST get to Victoria that evening and flying there is not an option... if you can make it to the Greyhound station in Seattle in time for the 1:40pm bus, you could catch the bus to Vancouver, which is due to arrive at Vancouver's Pacific Central Station by 5:40pm... giving you plenty of time to make the last (7:30 pm) Pacific Coach Lines bus that goes on the BC Ferries to Victoria.
Personally, though, I'd stay the night and have fun in Seattle, catching the Clipper the next day.
Have fun! DAN
