Sandman hotel in Vancouver

Sandman hotel in Vancouver

I was interested to stay to the Sandman hotel for a very short stay for a business trip i would like to know if anyone ever stayed there, is it a good hotel?? i keep hearing it has this sporty kind of vibe?

It also has hookers..Not exactly a business class hotel although there is a VERY lively sports bar( the shark club) in the hotel...Try the Goergian, close by, or any of the hotels at the waterfron area or along Robson st. The hotel Vancouver is pretty swank.

I agree with the above post. The last time I was there (1996), it was a dump. Try one of the many nice hotels on Robson Street.

I agree with the description of this hotel as being a dump. They are in the process of renovating so it may improve in time but not right now - it is grotty and noisy. We stayed at the Rosedale on Robson last month and can thoroughly recommend it. <BR> <BR>Dianna
