Royal BC Museum (Victoria)
Hi, guys! My husband and I are visiting Victoria with our kids (6 & 8 years old) at the end of August.
Is Royal BC Museum crowded on Sundays?
Is buying advance tickets on-line worthy?
Is there a long line of people waiting to get tickets?
Thanks for your advice!

Thank you, Itt!
Do you mean no line, no crowds?(Sorry, I'm not a native English speaker....)
By the way, what is the Dragon Bone Exhibits like? Our sons are very interested in Dinosaurs. Is it good for them?
Royal BC Museum HP says that "if you purchase tickets on-line, no waiting in line, no disappointments with sold out shows of Dragon Bones!"
Is it a kind of show??

sorry, meant no line to get tickets and i did not find it crowded. the exhibit is very good especially if your boys are into dinoseaurs. i believe there is a "movie" type show as well but i did not go to that so can't tell you if that gets sold out.

Hi! We just returned yesterday from 3 days in Victoria. My husband and I went to the Royal BC museum on Saturday morning. It is a GREAT museum. You and your boys will all love it! We waited 5-10 minutes to get tickets, but the line moved quickly. The Dinosour bones exhibit is FABULOUS! It's one of the best museums I have ever been to! Don't miss it!

regarding native arts in Vancouver. We have bought prints by Susan Point(coast salish) over the years. She has a studio on Granville Island. If there is a way to make your way to Port Townsend, there is a very good native art gallery :Ancestral Spirits Gallery www.ancestralspirits.com. You will see works by some of the masters here. There is also a store in Pioneer Square that sells old prints. I can't remember the name. Check out the gallery guides for Pioneer Square in Seattle. You should be able to locate some fairly easily.
