Hi goddess,

I'm sure restaurants are open and most stores. Smaller shops and boutiques may be closed.

Have you checked Peller Estate winery for a Thanksgiving dinner? We have Peller wines in the Okanagan, B.C. You should check them out online. I'm sure they have menus online as well.

Enjoy!

Thanks, tj28. We're doing Thanksgiving dinner at home on Sunday but we thought it would be nice to take our houseguests to NOTL on Monday, just to get out of Toronto, see some leaf colour, and do some browsing in NOTL. I know the leaves will be brighter if we go north but NOTL is so pretty.

Maybe I'll do a post asking for north suggestions too.

Thanks again.

goddess,

I'm just talking off the top of my head but I'd be awfully surprised if anything in NOTL (save the banks) is closed on Thanksgiving.

Thanks, all.

bobmrg, have you never been to NOTL? It's where the Shaw Festival is, spring to fall, and it's a very charming town. Worth a visit. C'mon over!
