No Canadian directions on Mapblast

Hi
I was disappointed to find I could not use Mapblast.com to plan out a trip from New England to Niagra Falls (Canadian side) to Montreal and back. I've used it for many other trips, including Europe. I was amazed that Canada was not a selection amongst a list of so many other countries. What's up with that? Does anyone know of another site where I could map out a road trip such as I described? Thanks so much!
marylouise

Now you know how frustrated us Canadians feel more often than not Canada gets left out in a lot of internet type sites... what's really funny is when they have a menu saying "choose your country", yet Canada is not a choice. Go figure!

I find that there are great map websites that do include Canada, but they don't cover cross-country. Like http://www.mybc.com has a great map of the Vancouver region, and http://www.alberta.com has a great map of th Edmonton region... but none cover the entire country.

Yahoo has a map section http://ca.maps.yahoo.com but I've never used them yet. http://www.mapquest.com might work too.

?? At MapQuest, I chose Canada from the list, then typed in Niagra Falls, Ontario, and got a map. Seems to work.

Thanks Robyn
I'll check out your suggestions. I can't imagine why your country gets left out! We'll have to keep squawking about it so people will take notice!
We're looking forward to our visit!
marylouise

For Robyn.
Canada may be left off of some lists, but not mine!! I have enjoyed may trips to Canada, both east and west.
It is my favorite vacation destination, particularly Yoho National Park and the Icefields Parkway. We even did the Gaspe one summer, going all the way to the tip of Cape Breton Island before returning home. In '95 we did not quite make it up to Port Hardy, but we did get to Campbell River from Victoria.
Fun trip.
For Marylouise, assuming Boston as a point of origin in New England, the route seems simple enough. West on I 90 to Buffalo, then follow the signs to Niagra Falls. From there, take the Queen Elizabeth way to Toronto and the McDonald Cartier freeway to Montreal. From Montreal take the eastern freeway to Sherbroke and then pick up the route through Magog to the USA where the highway blends into I 91 at the border. I 91 meets I 93 near St. Johnsbury which takes you back to Boston. Sounds like a neat trip with no major navigation problems, except in Montreal.
Who needs map blast? I have driven all over Canada and never heard of it until today!! Gimme a good set of road maps and I will get anywhere in the USA and Canada, assuming that a year round highway goes there. (Newfoundland is a bit more of a challenge. Boats are needed. So is Aklavik, dogs and a sled are often needed.)
