My wife and I are flying into Buffalo NY and then taking a shuttle bus to the Canadian side where we are staying at the Marriot fallsview. We only have 4 days but were thinking of going to Toronto for the day. Does anyone know how we can get there without renting a car???<BR>If we only have one day what sites should we see??<BR>Thanks so much

Vial Rail operates a train from Niagara Falls to Toronto. Mon-Fri Dep NF at 0645 Arr Toronto Union Station (downtown) at 0834. You can sleep in on the weekend as the Toronto trip goes at 0740-0930. The return trip is 1745 to 1936. Buses would give you more choices but I don't have a timetable handy. I will leave what to do for others as I have to get ready to take my wife to Toronto for a shopping trip.

Thanks Gavin. If you know of any specific bus lines, that would be very helpful as well. We were trying to see if we could squeeze in a Blue Jays game so we would need a later return than the train offers.

We are planning a one day trip the opposite way..Toronto to Niagara Falls and would like to use public transportation. My question is: How convienent is it from the Bus/Rail terminals to the Falls themselves? Is it walkable?<BR><BR>Thanks

My map shows the VIA station as being just over 1 km downstream of the falls. The train suitable for the Toronto <BR><BR>I would assume that the bus terminal is not too far away.
