hi liliam,
Im sure if you take a day to visit Niagara Falls, you will not be disappointed. The falls are very beautiful this time of year and you will experience the gardens looking spectacular...if you are so inclined, visit the casino for some fun. The butterfly garden is a really cool place to see different kinds of butterflies and plants in a quiet peaceful environment. If you want to see more of the Niagara river and the surrounding gardens take the shuttle which is reasonable in price. There is lots to see in Niagara Falls and having grown up in southern Ontario and moved to the US recently I really miss places like Niagara Falls. If you can, venture into Niagara-on-the-Lake--its a gorgeous, quaint little town known for its beauty. Have a great time in Toronto...I miss it a lot.

Renting a ccar is far and away the best way to go. It costs a lot less than two people (or more) on a tour, and you have freedom to spend as much time in each part of NF and Niagara on the lake as you wish.

It's an easy drive. Leave fairly early in the morning, but wait until after nine for the traffic to ease.

I believe the Maid of the Mist boat trip to the bottom of the falls is the best vacation attraction in Canada. Try it.

BAK

Hi Liliam,
I couldn't agree more with seeing Niagara Falls while you're there and also Niagara-on-the-lake which is an absolutely beautiful town with nice shops and restaurants. The beauty of the town unlike anywhere else I've seen. Stop by Wayne Gretzky's restaurant while you're in Toronto, fun atmosphere surrounded by many of his memorabilia from his early days. When we visited we missed seeing him by one day! Have fun, great city.
