Nanaimo to Victoria

Does anyone know about how long this will take by car? Any "gotta see" sights along the way?

If you drive with no stops it should take about an hour and half. Stops along the way, Chemainus to see the wall murals, Duncan to see the Totem Poles.

There are some really pretty lookout points along the Malahat. I'd agree with stopping at Chemainus - the murals are interesting, and it's a good place to stop for lunch.

Cruiseryyc, does it really take you only an hour and half? It usually takes me an hour just to get from Victoria to Duncan.

I did say "about an hour and half". Takes about 45 minutes Victoria to Duncan and 40 to 45 minutes Duncan to Nanaimo.

Thanks for the info - we've got a 4 year old and 7 year old so we were hoping it wasn't more than 2 hours! Thanks again!
