We went to a ceilidh in Baddeck at the community center. They have them frequently and it was great music with an intermission with tea and cookies. Loved it.

Try looking at https://www.cbisland.com/things-to-d...kitchen-party/

They are held all over and are typically in churches, social gatherings, etc. We attend many when we visit Prince Edward Island, a great night out.
